Kooler Deploys Mobile-Water-Station To Hydrate The MFL

Last Dec 2, 2023, Kooler made its debut as the official hydration partner of the MFL during the MFL Santa Bowl. The Manila Flag Football League (MFL) is the premier flag football league in the Philippines, founded and led by Pro Athlete and Coach Steve Near–along with Host, Athlete, and wife Zara Near. Through the MFL, Steve and Zara are determined to make flag football accessible to Philippine athletes nationwide. The MFL has produced eight tournaments since its founding, and its athletes have represented the country in international flag football leagues as team Sinag Pilipinas.

The MFL and its founders are passionate about caring for their athletes before, during, and after competition with pre-season training camps, as well as premium nutrition and hydration support on game day. Like most contemporary events, the MFL also consciously tries to reduce its environmental impact during and after tournaments. This conscious effort and their appreciation for premium hydration sparked the collaboration with Kooler as their official hydration partner.

Kooler supports game day by setting up its Mobile Water Station. The Kooler Mobile Water Station comprises two Alkaline Water Dispensers, which are connected to a 1,000-liter IBC water tank filled with pre-filtered water. The Alkaline Water Dispensers have a cooling system and water purifier to ensure that clean, crisp, and cool alkaline water is ready for consumption. This mobile system eliminates the need for roughly 500 single-use plastic water bottles (500ml). This significantly reduces the waste output of the MFL while saving the league valuable time and cost on waste management post-event.
